Feasibility Studies

One key aspect of our work is the ability to do targeted risk reduction of new technologies.  Our repeat customers often ask us to examine new areas on their behalf to rapidly identify the technical and commercial scope of new components, technicques, coatings, geometries etc.

This high risk work is more easily completed in our intensive R and D environment away from the pressures usually present in our collaborators' lab.s.

From surveying the state of the art, to modelling the extremes, to quick experiments to test power limits, our targeted approach is to give well informed early guidance on the liklihood of success. 

Not all proejcts require a novel light source and more value is often created for our customers by maximising the use of off the shelf items, accelerating the development process and speeding the rotue to market.
